Carpetland USA of Virginia originated in Roanoke, Virginia, in 1989 as a franchise of the national floor covering chain “Carpetland USA, Inc.,” which was founded in 1960. Through a series of acquisitions, the stores became members of a national buying group called “Flooring Alliance, Inc.” From 1997 to 2000, three more locations were added in Christiansburg, Lynchburg, and Martinsville, Virginia. In 2004, a second flooring store in Roanoke, VA, was added. Currently, we have four flooring stores serving Southwest Virginia.

Proudly serving Southwest Virginia, including Amherst, Appomattox, Bassett, Blacksburg, Cave Spring, Chatham, Christiansburg, Collinsville, Lafayette, Lynchburg, Madison Heights, Martinsville, Merrimac, North Shore, Oak Level, Patrick Springs, Penhook, Pulaski, Roanoke, Rocky Mount, Stuart, Westlake Corner, and surrounding Virginia areas.
While these four stores have been locally owned and operated since their inception, they have had the advantage of national buying power and support, offering Southwest Virginia the cutting edge of price, selection, service, and value for over thirty years.
Southwest Virginia watched Heather and Mark grow up on camera over the years. Mark is still part of the Carpetland USA family and has started a new career. Now Heather and the next generation of “Carpetland Kids” will continue the tradition with our family-owned stores. Jocelyn and Joanna love helping their Aunt Heather with the Carpetland commercials.
